Before the press, before the red carpets, and before the recognition, there was simply an idea I believed in.

When I created the first Runyaro cassette tape handbag, I knew it was different. It wasn't just another handbag; it was a conversation piece. It represented music, culture, memories, and a story that people from every background could understand.

To test that belief, I took the bag to New York during Fashion Week. I wore it everywhere I went. On the streets, in restaurants, at events, and throughout the city. I wanted to see if strangers would connect with it the same way I had.

They did.

People stopped me constantly to ask about the bag. Men and women, young and old, from different cultures and walks of life were drawn to it. Some remembered making mixtapes. Others remembered their favorite songs, their first car, or a moment from their childhood. The cassette tape became more than a design; it became a shared memory.

That experience confirmed something important: I wasn't just carrying a handbag. I was carrying a piece of history that was finding a new voice in modern luxury.

What began as a single idea has grown into Runyaro, a brand rooted in culture, storytelling, and craftsmanship. Every piece is designed to spark conversation, preserve nostalgia, and remind us that the most powerful designs are the ones that make people feel something.

THE CREATOR

I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, a city built on creativity, resilience, and culture. Growing up surrounded by music, entrepreneurship, and innovation shaped the way I saw the world and inspired me to create something that would leave a lasting impact.

As a singer, songwriter, and creative entrepreneur, I have always believed that the most powerful ideas are the ones that make people feel something. In 2015, that belief led me to create the world's first luxury cassette tape handbag, a design inspired by music history and the memories that connect generations.

When the prototype was completed, I knew I had something special. To test my vision, I traveled to New York during Fashion Week and wore the bag everywhere I went. The response was immediate. People from every background stopped to ask about it. Strangers shared stories about their favorite songs, mixtapes, and memories connected to cassette tapes.

That experience confirmed what I had hoped for: I wasn't simply creating handbags. I was creating a conversation.

Today, Runyaro stands at the intersection of culture, nostalgia, and luxury. Every piece is designed to tell a story, spark emotion, and remind people that great design is not only seen but also felt.
